Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a very SpOoKy & Fun Halloween ; ) I am not dressing up, but my daughter is going to be a lil’ Tigger tonight so that will be cute! I wanted to let you guys know that Halloween can be fun, but it can also save you a ton of money and you can score some amazing deals. Keep in mind that on Holidays people don’t really stay in and surf the net (for the most part) however there are a handful that do and you guys may be the smarties of the bunch. On holidays such as today you can reap the benefits of being a deal hunting ghoul ~ LoL…
Ebay, Craigslist and your local thrift stores are just a few places to get some sweet savings TODAY!!! There are many, many Ebay auctions ending today that will probably go un-noticed and they will end with either zero or very few bids. So…that puts you in a place to win an Ebay auction and not have to compete with 100 others at bidding time. You have tho think that the seller probably didn’t put too much thought into when he posted his auction a few days ago and now he is like “Oh No, who is going to be in on Halloween to bid” and well…that’s when you smile cheerfully and say ~ That would be me! Also, with Craigslist (the love of my life) there are a ton of old folks & scaredy cats selling off their goods because they aren’t taking any chances out in the cold tonight, LOL. So…go check out Craigs and see what deal you can get IN TOWN too. Make me proud, and comment on this post if you get something for a good deal (which I know you will.) I know I am going to go score a few deals myself today, I just can’t help it. Now, these items don’t have to be for yourself, you can simply resell them on a NON holiday and make the big bucks for your hard work ; )

Today I decided that I am going to add a live webcam feature here on my blog, where you can chat with me one on one about making money. I did this today and had a large response so stay tuned, it will be just a day or two until I add that feature on here. It will be SO cool, because we can discuss topics, I can answer your questions and we can all share our own money making info. Lots to share with you guys, you’ll be suprised how easy it is to start making money online yourselves ; ) Too easy…let me show you how. I think I am going to call it the momcast show! We will see, it will be cool that’s all I know. I’ll post more money making reviews on here later today too, so keep checking back!

I joined this company about one month ago. They are an online survey company that pays you for completing market research study surveys. I had only heard good things about them from my friends who were already doing these surveys for this company. I was pretty skeptical at first though because I had tried a few paid survey companies before and didn’t get paid and they seemed “too good to be true.” Well, I now have a new philosophy on that gut feeling of too good to be true, if it feels that way- steer clear! Well, I just did’t get that feeling with this company after I looked them up, did a little research and actually saw that my friend was indeed making money off of these guys and not TOO much money where it sounded like a raw deal. He stated to me that he was making about $100-$300 a month with them plus he said that he would get paid for his referrals to them. Like say for instance he tells a friend about them SURVEY SAVVY - I am that friend he told ~ LOL. Anyways moving along, he gets $2 for every survey I am invited to and do complete. Then he gets paid $1 for each survey that any of their (my) referrals complete. Now keep in mind, they send out a few emails a week. It will state what the survey is, how much estimated time is involved and how much you can expect to make IF you complete the survey. That’s cool, but once you click start survey you must complete it at once after clicking that survey invitation link they sent you. Also…you may get to the first or second question of the survey you’re taking and the survey will say something like “thanks anyways” and the survey is aborted because the answers you entered did not match with what that survey is seeking from their study. That is cool though, because you can tell that these guys are looking for qualified people for each survey topic and that they aren’t trying to shove surveys down your throat that don’t apply to you, they don’t promise you $10,000 a month and they sure as heck don’t send as many surveys as I wish they did…but they are indeed legit and a good way to make some extra cash. Now there is a section once you sign up that looks like this:
If you take the time, I haven’t yet but if you do complete this information…you will get sent more surveys because they will know more about you and can match you to surveys that fit your profile and it helps them to get the info that they seek. I plan on doing this someday this week. I’ll let you know if it increases the amount of surveys they send me. I hope it will, my friend says it helps a lot. I can see why that is. So today was another good day for me and my new stock shares. At the end of market close I made a little over $20. Seriously, I have made well over $40 in two days on the market. With a small investment. You have to remember if I had double the money in that would be double these profits. It’s all in how you look at it I guess. This is good new guys. I will get this organized so it is easier for you (my loyal readers) to follow. Maybe with a few charts that can I update daily. Wish me luck tomorrow… I also have to let you know, I felt SO confident with my LLNW stock that I bought more share today with the last few bucks of my initial $500 deposit. So, I was able to buy about 6 more shares of that company. Pretty cool, I have much faith that LLNW is going to be a HUGE money maker. Only time will tell. Gosh, I wish I had more to invest already. It is really fun to watch your stocks daily. “Are they up” or “Are they down” – what can be more fun than risk. I am a risk taker and I think you almost need to be to stay alive in the money making world. I’ll get that chart together and report tomorrow, LOL. Good night all : )

Here is a photo of the stocks I bought last Friday! Tomorrow should be my 2nd exciting day on the stock market. Friday was awesome, two of the stocks I bought each had a 12% gain at the end of the day which was SO unexpected. However, it made me very happy that I had made the choice to try stocks. Serious people, I don’t think stocks have to be so confusing or hard. I am not a rocket scientist BUT I am very good when it comes to knowing certain topics and that was my tactic here. I invested into companies I believed in. I read their profiles, checked out their websites, read recent press releases and figured out what their future plan were to grow and BOOM that is where I decided to invest in these four companies pictured here to the left. That is an actual photo from my Scottstrade account I set up. Now as you can see (my lovely handwriting in blue) I ONLY have $387.20 invested so far. I deposited $500 into my account so I can still buy another stock if I want. I have a little dough left in there. Everytime I buy or sell a stock though, it costs $7 per trade. So you have to be careful not to waste money constantly buying/selling too much. Now if you make a huge break, sel, sell, sell obviously. Run with the profits…but if your stock has a bad day, don’t give up yet. For instance my UBET stock I bought as a HIGH RISK stock because it is down. My hopes are that it will go back up, well if it does YEAH for me and my wallet, but if it doesn’t I ONLY have $50 invested in it. That isn’t too much to lose if all goes bad. They are to announe their 3rd quarter earnings soon, and I hope that day will be good news for that petcular stock. Anyways, my other stocks ROCK…I would HIGHLY suggest anyone interested to look into this LLNW (Limelight Networks) stock/company. They have big plans and are linked to hundreds of A lister companies such as Myspace, Facebook, Metacafe, Microsoft & Amazon. The list goes on. Check them out. I made a total of about $28 just on Friday. Yeah that isn’t a lot but it’s pretty much free money and great profit for such a low investment as mine. Stay tuned. So far my gain is $28 – what will tomorrow bring in?

Okay, never in a million years did I think that I would ever try my hand at the stock market. Why…you ask? Well simply put, it is very intimidating to me and I think it is to a lot of other people as well. My thoughts on the stock market have always been: You have to be rich to play the stock market, you have to be well educated on stocks and such and you won’t make much if you don’t have much to put in. I also thought that you had to have a lot of time. After weeks of debate and concern, I have finally decided to go for it, yeah! I have tried to get “stock smart” in just a few weeks and well…I have decided it doesn’t nessicarily work that way for people wanting to get into stocks that don’t want to risk all of their money. If we are only putting in a few hundred (under a thousand dollars) than we don’t have too much to worry about. I guess it is different when you are playing with your life savings or half of a million dollars right?! Okay so here is where it gets cool for you. I am going to keep you updated on my progress daily. I think this is cool, because as a stock newbie myself I have tried to find someone online that has a blog about beginning stocks and their loss/gains but no such thing exists. At least I can’t find one. So here I am. I know VERY little about stocks or the market, however I know that it is a game of chance and you really can make money off of it. I got really motivated and decided to make the plunge after my friend told me about a recent small cap stock (that pretty much means a stock that is new or cheap to buy in) he had bought. I guess at one point you could have even called it a penny stock, because it opened at like .50 cents per share in early September. It is now at $1.70 ish and has a lot more potential. Well considering it is one month later and the stock has tripled in price…I got excited. He had invested $1,000 of his money into that stock (SPKL is the stock symbol by the way.) Now he has made about $2,000 profit. OH MY GOSH, okay so he got lucky I thought…But not really. He did a little research, took a chance and now ONLY one month later he has tripled his money that he invested. I kept watching him make this money and he kept urging me to buy…but I didn’t until now. A few days ago I went into Scottstrade and gave them $500 cash (this is the lowest amount of money that they will accept as a deposit to open an account) and it was really easy. They said that my funds would be available the next day and I could start buying/trading stocks online as early as noon o’clock. Awesome, I couldn’t wait and I was really mad at myself, because this was way too easy so far! I didn’t think you could join the stock market game for $500. Yeah, in a sense that is a lot to some of us BUT it can be worth a lot more with smart choices. And I am not saying that every investment I make will be a smart one, but we will hope for the best ‘eh! Okay, so now I had my new Scottstrade account, my $500 deposit (funds available) and I was unsure of what to buy at this point. I honestly was afraid to buy into my friends choice of Spicky Pickle stock (SPKL) because it had gained so much, so quickly…and it was a new stock. I have noticed that when a stock hits the market for the first time, buyers/investors eat it up. Well they surely ate that up and I wasn’t quite sure I had enough faith to put my eggs into that basket quite yet. However, I do still think that they have a lot of potential. Just read about them and you’ll see what I mean. They have been plans, a good business model and they show room for success. I will watch them and also include them in my daily stock market reports here. That way I can play “what if I would have invested” and see if I would have made or lost money. That sounds fun huh?! Okay…so mving along with what I decided to buy. Here it goes, here are the stocks I decided to buy this morning 10/26/2007. I bought into 4 different companies and they are PGIC, LLNW, HYBT and UBET (these are all symbols for the stocks.) I am going to end this post here and start a new one with details about each stock, how many shares of each I bought and the current stock prices per company. Then we will track my stock progress online daily together – Right here on my blog. I hope to be a success with little knowledge and a little investment for all of those who also want to try out stocks…but seem to think that they don’t have enough time, money or skills to do so.
