Whateverlife.com – A teenager made millions with her ad filled website!
Okay so who says that you can’t make good money doing what I am doing here and teaching you?! Well, Ashley Qualls (now 17 years old) has struck gold with her small online website called Whateverlife.com – Raking in more than $70,000 a MONTH with just her ads alone. Amazing this girl is…she had an idea, went for it and now she has her MOM working for her. She turned a fun hobby making Myspace graphics and templates into a full time business and career. When she first started her website at age 14, she had borrowed the hosting & domain money from her mom…it was like $10 or something. Okay…can we all say that was $10 well spent. My point here is that all of us have the same opportunity, we just have to want it and be passionate about what we blog about or what we are doing with our websites. She’s really well known around our “myspace graphics sites” community. This site thing totally rocks and has paid off very well for the people who got in EARLY but the whole thing has unfortunately become really flooded now. Its like a phenomenon.
The thing about her site though is she has alot to offer and in many cases when it comes to sites like ours its about quantity. I think her whole story is amazing. She’s a humble and inspiring girl and teens need role models like her nowadays
It’s interesting how she has turned her hobby into such a huge business. But dropping out of highschool for it I don’t think was such a good idea. Myspace is already becoming less and less popular, with users flocking to Facebook. What is she going to do in 5 years time when Myspace is old news and she has no diploma?
Perhaps not such a good ‘role model’ after all..
Amazing story, and you’re right goes to show any of us can do it. It just seems as if kids these days have more creativity and perhaps inspiring ideas than us adults.
Apple, I read somewhere else that this girl is branching the site out to be more of a social community with a forum and she’s working on an online magazine as well. Smart kid.
Great video! Its amazing to see someone make a that much money because of how she is does it and not what she does. She loves what she is doing while the majority of us join business concepts because it displays a high payout. Everything that exist today does so because of an idea. Not because someone shows you how to work and idea. Many of us know how to work idea’s but usually can’t come up with one. This comes from what we have been taught.
