Trouble With Moms Cash Blog
Ok, I’m having trouble with thunderstorms… trouble with my man, trouble with my car, and trouble with my cat. I lost the post I worked on last night and now I have writer’s block. If that weren’t enough, I found out I have trouble with MomsCashBlog.
A very talented and successful designer/programmer/Director of a very large website — managing thousands of page – has looked into the workings of MomsCashBlog. She uses WordPress for some other sites and told me I’ve inherited trouble with MCB. Things are not where they should be… things are not as they should be. Those things can be fixed with a lot of time and investigative work. But on another note, she advised me to get in contact with the former owner to make sure I have clear “title” to MCB (as of now it looks like I don’t).
I’d love to get in touch with the previous owner, but I don’t have her ”real” e-mail address.. (she used MCB e-mail so essentially I’ve been talking to myself! LOL) All contact stopped abruptly in mid-May before MY end of the bargain was finished. (I had to pay within 72 hours… she had a month to give me the information on MCB and transfer things). I was told she was busy with her new venture. I was patient and trusting… too patient, and waaay too trusting, it seems. I had her cell phone number (since we had to talk somehow to make the deal and get the money to her)… but since Mid-May she hasn’t answered the phone and now it seems to have been disconnected. Legally, they might have to put a “freeze” on everything to do with MomsCashBlog until we find out more about the title and things get settled correctly.
So, I guess that’s my post… It’s one I didn’t want to have to make because I didn’t want to go public. I am frustrated because I have never made a deal with another person without honoring the agreement and I would not stop all contact without at least saying “good-bye!” and making sure everything was done right.

You have been given everything you were supposed to receive in the sale. Wow, way to go! That really doesn’t impress your readers much…and after all of the help you got from me, such as 2-3 hour phone calls training you for weeks on end. Are you serious? My readers know as well as I do that I am a loyal person with good values. I told you before you bought the blog…if you couldn’t handle it – please don’t buy it. The bill of sale which was faxed to you is your “title” of ownership. Not to mention you own the blog, domain and hosting along with all of the affiliate programs that are ran on here. Before you decide to bash someone, you might want to contact them first like an adult would do in any circumstance. Writers block is part of the blogging struggle and don’t listen to everything 1 person tells you, I thought you learned that your 1st week of blogging : ( Coming from you JJ – this is very disappointing.
Good Luck With Your Ventures…sorry your month of training wasn’t enough. The rest is up to you my dear. Wouldn’t you all agree?

Hi JJ,
Is there something wrong with your WordPress installation? If so, rather than spend all that time fixing it, why not backup and re-install WordPress?
Has the domain name been transferred to you? Is the site under your own hosting? Without control of both of these, your blog could disappear overnight.
You say that communication broke down before you fulfilled your end of the deal. Does this mean you have not actually paid for MCB?
Sounds like a major headache…
Hi Mark, The wordpress installation is fine, but php files in wrong places, duplicates and some are missing. Bingo on the second part. Oh I paid in full, within the 72 hr. I have an email that I started to you will try to get it out tonight, good to see ya again.
wow!… that is terrible JJ… I’m sorry to hear that… I am much like yourself… There is nothing worse then when somebody doesn’t live up to their end of a bargain… Sometimes, domains take time to transfer… if you are transfering to another host it could take upto 60 days…so keep this in mind, I hope it is the case… I am going to ask a couple of people I know which are well-rounded in these areas to see if I can dig you up some more information… on another note… thunderstorms are hitting us in Boston too… Good Luck with everything.

Don’t make me look like the bad guy, It’s not like that and what you’ve done to me is dis-honest and not very polite. I don’t appreciate your slander and dishonesty.
You don’t know what you are talking about in your comments FYI – make sure you don’t mess with the wrong files JJ or you could lose the whole blog. Like Mark stated, as long as you own the domain and the hosting (which you do) then what seems to be the problem. No files are misplaced, are you kidding me : ( Call a real web designer who knows what they are talking about or you may not have a blog left if something gets deleted by someone trying to supposedly “help” you. Just trying to help – I would say I am here for you but you burned that bridge.

Krysti.. glad we can finally talk!! Sorry if this upset you but I had no other recourse since you completely cut off all contact with me before the contract was final and left me with many loose ends. I had no other way to get in touch with you as you wouldn’t return my calls or e-mails. Nothing I said was dishonest or slanderous.. Now let’s discuss this thru e-mail or on the phone so I can explain to you the legal issue I am faced with. You know my number and you know my e-mail. Sorry it came to this, I’m not looking for a fight… but I have to protect myself and my investment.

This blog is sucking bad. You don’t know what you are doing, and should never have bought this thing. It’s WordPress, it’s not rocket science.
You bought it. You deal with it.

Wow! JJ, I was making a comment to tell you be careful that last comment she made looks like a threat and Moms Cash Blog disappeared!!!!!!! I tried like 12 times and it said This site is no longer available. You better back things up. Something strange is going on here. Good luck JJ. Watch your back!

Most of the time, things like these are a case of misunderstanding rather that someone being dishonest. I am sending you my love, as I know it must be hard not only running this blog but also being faced with problems like these. I am sure it will all be sorted out soon. Stay calm and do not give up.
