Lulu is a good site to publish your very own book. They offer many options for authors. For example, you make up your own price and you can have your book sold as an e-book as well. Lulu.com also has a list of companies who offer  other services such as editors who can proofread and spellcheck your book as well as graphic artists who can design your bookcover. Those services come with a fee. You can choose also to sell your book on other retaliers such as Target, Barnes and Nobles, Borders,etc. along with thousands of other retailers. For example, my book is sold all over Europe as well as here in the U.S.

If your dream is to write your own book and be a published author, lulu.com is the way to go. This way, you don’t have to find a literary agent and  wait forever to hear from book publishers who only want established authors.  Just remember that the book won’t sell itself and you must market the book and promote it. The reason I wrote my book of rhymes and poems is because I had an established fanbase who really liked my rhymes and told me I should have a book full of my rhymes.  Thanks to lulu,com, I’ve been able to sell hundreds of books all over the world and have my fans be able to get a copy of all my poems. A lot of people have told me they would want to write a book about their life. I tell them that no matter how interesting you think your life is, no one will buy it except your family and significant other unless you are famous like Brittany Spears or 50 Cent.  Your best bet would be to write a book on a hobby or something you are an expert at such as cooking,
 health,sex,  and other  popular issues and topics. For example, I know you (Krysti) can definitely write a book on making money online and sell thousands of copies!!   or even a book on parenting. People need to focus on what they are knowledgable at.    Overall, I am very happy with LuLu and would recommend it to any potential authors out there who want to self publish a book.  If not for LuLu, I would not have been able to get my book of rhymes out there and inspire and touch people with my poems!
