Kyle… you came at the right time! If you already have a blog then click on my next post (article) that is coming up about Pepperjam Network. (they are an advertising network) and get started but you have to have a blog with some posts on it to get ads on your blog.

If you havent started your blog yet but you want to.. then you can try my Blog Tutorial (at the top of the blog.. click on it and check it out. Everything is all in one place and easy to use to start a blog) Then once you have your blog, you go to someone’s site and click on and ad that you would like to advertise with and you will be their “referral” (they get paid for it when you go thru them) When you get to the affiliate ad site, they will ask for the url of your website and tell you what to do from there. JJ, You got it! That is exactly what I plan to do. I was getting confused since the word “publisher” is thrown around in several different contexts on the net. Being a writer, I look for the word publisher. I’m still in the learning phase, so thanks for the explanations.

Deb… I was thinking, if you’re into writing and want to get published then a blog is a great way to do that. Like I said before, look up Freelance Writers, but you might also want to start a blog to show your published works. It’s a great way to get your word out there and show publishers what you’ve got!.

Hi Deb… I know what you mean, there are a lot of things to learn with blogging and you will never stop learning because there is always something new around the corner. Pay Per Post is a type of advertising. It is when a blogger promotes something for a merchant or advertiser in his/her blog posts. They get paid for the post, so you do have to have a blog to do it. A good writer can make good money with PPP. (I haven’t gotten into it but bloggernoob.com is very good at it, check his out) I think I know what you want. As a writer you would like to get paid to write posts for others like freelance magazine writers do and i think you’d have to look up “freelance online writers” or whatever terms you can think of. Just keep searching different terms till you find the one you want. (sorry I can’t help more than that. Don’t know much about it.)

JJ, did you write this for me? LOL It is very difficult to understand everything because bloggers expect us to already know blogging terms and no one starts from the beginning. Thanks for hitting on the basics and explaining things that are usually skimmed over on other blogs. I did not know a blogger was considered a publisher. Many abbreviations are used in blogging and they are of no use to someone who is trying to learn. This was most helpful although I still have questions.
What is a Pay Per Post, and how does it work? I assume I could I get paid for writing posts for blogs? How much and where would I go? Do I need to be a blogger to get into Pay Per Post? (I have a degree and I am a good writer as long no one expects me to write about blogging. LOL) Could someone tell me the process. Thanks in advance. Deb
