I have tried GoDaddy.com before and I must say that I was less than satisfied with the level of service that I received form them. The problem is that when I realized that the website I had was a “looser” I closed the account with godaddy and they would not close the account. I had to call my bank every month and tell then not to pay godaddy because I closed the account. And to make the problem even worst I was hounded with emails and phone call on a daily basis. I could not and would not recommend godaddy to anyone.

WARNING!! Blogging is addictive! Honestly, when I started my first blog it was purely for SEO reasons as I heard the constant updates would help with my site’s PR. Now I have several and I find it do it more out of passion than any other reason. It was funny reading the archives of my first blog to see how poor the content really was, but like I said the passion wasn’t there at that particular time.

Commenting is very important, especially if you source out dofollow blogs and those that use plugins such as commentluv and keyword luv, but there is one thing to keep in mind, and that is to leave quality comments as these are more likely to generate traffic.

It’s also a good idea to install, for wordpress blogs, a ‘subscribe to comment’ plugin so that readers can get notification of when someone has left another comment on a post that you are interested in.

Hi, I have just got to agree with you. I waited and waited trying to get everything in order before I would start. There is no time like the present. Sometimes you just have to get on with it. Its the same with writing. You can stare at blank page for hours, but all you need to do is write as if you were talking to a friend and it will flow.

Just do it. Start a blog and have fun with it. Set goals as you would any other venture, and you will surprise yourself. Set a goal to post 3 times a week for a month straight. You will be amazed by the traffic that comes to your new blog.

Hey Mominator… I did do some research about blogs and blogging, but when the chance to buy MCB came up I jumped at it! (I only had 72 to decide so that gave me the push I needed.) If I hadn’t bought MCB, I’d probably still be researching. lol I would never have known all of the great moneymaking opportunities that are online.

Hi Sandy… Getting your ducks in a row is good, but you’ll never know everything until you “do it”. Like most things in life it’s “learn as you go”. About the comments, that is how bloggers get to know each other. It’s “networking” online, just as you do in business offline. All bloggers want comments from non-bloggers because it means they are getting noticed (and you could be a potential customer). Believe me, everyone loves having a non-blogger come to their site…or they should! lol

I have to say I couldn’t agree more with just jumping into it. I waited and waited..and read…and researched…and read some more. All I did was read things that I weren’t putting into practice b/c I didn’t even have a blog to run. Once I started blogging, I was instantly hooked. Now when I read at resourceful places like MCB I understand what I’m reading about and either make a choice to practice what is talked about or not if I don’t think it’s relevant for my site. You just have to get out there and do it!
