Pinging is definitely a good thing and helps getting your postings listed in an instant. Thank you for a great post, Krysti! (Though, I figured my list is quite a bit shorter…

What I use in addition sometimes is the “MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer” plugin for when I update a previous post just slightly (to not being considered as a “ping spammer”).
