You always have such good tips and advice on your blog! I have actually been doing this for quite awhile and even have the wife help me to keep the blogs updated and ahead. With 3 teens and so many activities it's really nice to be able to take the time off we need to so that we can be with our kids and go to their school functions.

Blogging does get tedious and as my wife says, boring lol But it really is worth it in the end!

Thanks again for all the wonderful Info!

Good post, but you can just use the timestamp feature as opposed to logging in everyday. I was away all of last week and didn't get on the internet once, but all my posts published automatically because of the timestamps I had set.

Hi,

I am just new to your blog. And I just wanted to say that you have very good content.

Thanks for the tip for to save posts as drafts within Wordpress Dashboard.

This is going to give me a lot of space on a daily basis.

Thanks and keep up the works.

Good video Krysti.

You actually don't need to save it and then click publish later. If you change the timestamp and then click publish then your post will automatically publish on the monday, tuesday or whenever. This is particuarly handy if your going on holiday as you might struggle to get a good internet connection.

I used this about a year ago. I was living in Auckland, New Zealand at the time with some friends (Im from the UK) and we were about to set off to travel the whole country for about 4 weeks via bus. We had so many things planned that I knew that it would be hard just checking emails never mind writing blog posts. So for my blogging advice site I wrote about 30 posts in advance and published them in advance. Whilst travelling I managed to write a few drafts and save them and upload them later so I actually had about 40 or so longish posts written. The timestamp was definately used to full effect there (though I wouldn't recommend anyone writing that many posts in advance haha!)
